9-11 and 9-12

Tri County Motor Speedway: 9-11-09 (Friday)

The season finale at TCMS was an eventful one, even if the #43 Cadillac of Jesse James was not present! Jesse, being 2nd in points at HMS chose not to take the chance of tearing up his car for the Saturday night’s last points at Hickory. Jesse wants to thank Tri County Motor Speedway and his fans for the fun and support throughout the year.

Hickory Motor Speedway: 9-12-09 (Saturday)

Excitement was in the air as the entire field of cars lined up for the last official autograph session of the season. Fans were able to meet the drivers, get autographed hero cards, candy, and photos made with their favorite driver. Jesse and the #43 Cadillac qualified in the 4th position for the final point’s race of the year. At the drop of the green flag, the Lake Luxury Homes/J&M Woodworking Pistone LTO was battling side by side with the Nationwide Series driver, Steven Wallace for the 2nd position. After a few laps Jesse cleared Wallace and set his sights on the lead car of Dexter, Jr. Jesse quickly drove up to Dexter’s back bumper, looking to take the top spot. But as lady luck would have it, mechanical issues would once again bring Jesse to pit road. The crew jerked the hood off the car and went to work; they were able to get Jesse back on the track before the lights were off on the pace car. Determined to keep his 2nd place position in the point’s race, Jesse fought hard and worked his way to a 12th place finish to ensure he would keep his hard earned and much deserved point’s position.

Jesse and the JJL Motorsports crew would also like to say an extra special thank you to all his fans, family, and friends for their support and encouragement throughout the 2009 season. We are looking forward with excitement and great anticipation to the 2010 season.
